Little kids, big kids and big kids at heart come together to bond as a family in a fun and beneficial way. Age and developmentally appropriate yoga poses, animated breathing exercises and soothing relaxation techniques awaken the inner-child of all age participants.
Yoga Therapy utilises a series of therapeutic exercises that work with the body to bring it back into balance. The aim of corrective exercises is to bring balance to the bodies energy flow in the meridians and assist the body in healing naturally. The targeted exercises work by correcting the function of the bodies organs, the body systems and they correct structural imbalances.
The workshop will commence with a Kids Yoga Therapy based yoga practice, followed by a Mandala Art Meditation and a Kids Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra). The kids will paint or colour an original Mandala created by Red Brush Art.
